Online Learning at Ryders Hayes
While we always love seeing our pupils in person, there may be exceptional circumstances—such as an unexpected school closure—where learning must temporarily move online.

To ensure your child’s education continues seamlessly, we have robust remote learning systems in place across all year groups, allowing pupils to stay connected, engaged and supported wherever they are learning.
Our Remote Learning Platforms
Years 1 to 6 – Google Classroom
Pupils in Years 1 to 6 access their learning through Google Classroom.
Depending on the situation, teachers may provide:
-
Live-streamed lessons
-
Independent classwork assignments
-
Feedback and communication through the platform
This ensures learning remains consistent and closely aligned with what would be happening in school.
Early Years (Nursery & Reception) – SeeSaw
Our youngest learners use SeeSaw, an interactive platform designed specifically for Early Years.
-
Access is via the SeeSaw app
-
Login is provided through a QR code at Induction Evening
-
Teachers share simple, engaging, age-appropriate activities and guidance
This allows families to support learning in a flexible and manageable way at home.
Accessing Online Learning
We ensure all pupils are ready to access online learning at a moment’s notice.
-
Years 1–6 pupils use their school Google account
-
Login details are securely stored inside each child’s Pupil Planner
-
The same login is used both in school and at home
Whether joining a live lesson or completing assigned work, our aim is to keep every child connected to their learning and their class community.
