Ryders Hayes is proud to be part of the Cradle to Career initiative, a community-wide partnership focused on improving outcomes for children, young people, and families. This approach brings schools, services, families, and local organisations together to tackle challenges, remove barriers, and create real opportunities for every child.

At the heart of Cradle to Career is a simple belief: when schools and communities work together, children thrive.

Supporting Families in a Digital World

As part of our wider Cradle to Career work, we are also delivering practical support for families, including workshops designed to help parents feel confident in today’s digital world.

These sessions focus on:

Online safety and social media
Understanding AI and technology
Supporting English and maths at home
Technology for children with SEND
Everyday digital tools for families

The aim is to ensure families feel informed, confident, and supported as technology continues to shape children’s learning and wellbeing.

Listening to Our Families

As part of our work with Cradle to Career, we have gathered feedback from parents and carers to better understand their experiences, challenges, and priorities.

Families told us that Ryders Hayes is a central, positive part of the community, and that strong relationships with staff make a real difference.

What We’re Doing

Using feedback from families, we are working with our Cradle to Career partners to:

Strengthen support for children’s wellbeing
Improve communication and family engagement
Signpost families to local services and early help
Expand enrichment and community opportunities
Build stronger links between schools, health, and community organisations

This work is ongoing, and we will continue to listen to families and respond to their needs.
