Nursery

We offer your child the opportunities for fun, interactive and imaginative learning and celebrate each child’s strengths and areas of interest. Children make full use of our wonderful indoor and outdoor learning environments which have been created to support your child’s learning and development to explore and discover the world around them.

The Nursery is arranged in 'areas of provision' which support the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Your child will learn through a stimulating range of child and adult-initiated play and learning experiences, laying firm foundations for the challenges of their individual futures. Your child will be encouraged to explore these areas, developing independence and confidence, taking increasing responsibility for their own learning. The Nursery Team observe the children as they learn through play, identifying learning styles and 'next steps' for individual children, which in turn informs the changes and enhancement of the provision.

Children can start attending Ryders Hayes Nursery, for half days (3hours), after their third birthday.

There are places for 30 children in each of the morning and afternoon sessions.

Nursery Morning session starts at 8.45 to 11.45am and Afternoon Session starts at 12.45 to 3.45pm.

We have a register of interest list and you can add your child's name by visiting or calling the Main School Office.
